BUDDHA IN THE GARDEN

Surrounded by the mystical intertwining of Nature’s elements Buddha sits, allowing all that is in this moment be enough. The wise one knows immersion in the arms of the Garden can bring calm and peace to a scattered mind. 

Materials:

The center Buhhda image is surrounded by vintage fabric trims and beads. A handmade paper flower with a circle of pearls above his crown is surrounded by embroidered silver leaves.  An iridescent sword bead marks his third eye, while twigs, a wooden bird and blue peacock plumage garnish the garden. The entire piece is created on a bed of Hebrew text excerpts from miscellaneous old book pages.
