Feather Art
The perfect balance of four gives us direction in life. This mandala gives us two compasses, an inner and an outer, for amplified guidance along the journey. There is a choice of eight paths: the four cardinal directions of north, south, east, and west and the intercardinal points halfway in between—northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.
Many directions give many paths to choose. One must choose wisely, with a flexible mind that knows one can change direction at any time as long as the heart and soul are in alignment. Be cautious to pay attention to the will, which can be swayed by the ego.
Materials:
Nestled in a bed of green Lady Amherst Pheasant feathers are two layers of white plumage. The four directions have been created by Orange Top Pheasant feathers surrounded by Green Peacock feathers.
